Our Strategy

The Strategy:  There are three basic elements to The Timothy Project strategy:

• The First is Abundant Prayer: 
  • Participating Churches must develop a strategy for prayer: Pray for: 
    • Our short-term missionaries as they GO
    • For our indigenous Timothy Project workers.  
    • For new Mexican believers and seekers. 
    • That God would raise up Men of Peace who will sense and respond to the call from God to become leaders in their own towns and villages.
• The Second is to Send Short-term Mission teams: short-term mission teams going into towns and villages will…
  • Prayer-walk the entire community,
    • Praying over every home,
    • Asking God to reveal Satan’s strongholds that they may be bound through prayer, 
    • Asking God to prepare the hearts of the residents to hear and receive the Word of God,
    • Asking God to raise up Men of Peace that can be Discipled to lead in that community.

   

  • Do Gospel Saturation,
    • By placing a New Testament portion in every home.
    • By giving every man, woman and child an opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel through…
      • Chronological Bible Storying,
      • Showing the Gospel videos,
      • Children’s ministries,
      • Preaching and teaching God’s Word.
• The Third is to provide ongoing training for national pastors and church planters.
  • Train them on the principals of Stimulating and Nurturing a Church Planting Movement
  • Help them to identify and mentor new leaders.
  • Teach them how to train new leaders, and  how to lead Bible studies.
  • Provide annual training for youth with leadership potential.
